Vendor Development Initiative by Northern Railway

Northern Railway will observe every Wednesday as Vendor Development Day. All Vendors are invited to visit various depots attached to workshops and sheds on this day. Vendors can have a look at the items being purchased and stocked in the depot. Items (including imported items) where development of more sources is needed have been displayed so that firms interested in development and supply of these items are provided complete details of items, their specification and all related information like annual quantity being purchased, last purchase rate, sample/prototype approving authority etc. All are invited for participation.
